ABOUT spiritual direction
Spiritual Direction is a sacred exploration taken with another who accompanies with deep and holy listening as your story is shared and unfolds. It is a companioning relationship of trust in which the director listens with a heart for discerning the movement of the divine in your life.
As God is the true Director, a human director is like a midwife, assisting you in noticing and responding to this inner voice of the Holy. This journey is a spiritual one in search of truth relating to yourself, your God, your relationships, your vocation—your life.
As your director, Brandy will listen with the ear of her heart to your sacred story and explore with you where God (or a higher power) is in the midst of it. She will come to your time together with an openness and warmth of spirit, ready to hear whatever it is that you have to share so that you might notice more together.
It was Brandy’s soul-ripening experience as a directee which led her heart to pursue training in the ministry of spiritual direction. She holds a deep belief that when one’s story is told, heard, and sacredly held, a sense of freedom and purpose comes to light.
Brandy enjoys, and is available for, one-on-one and small group spiritual direction. She has a deep appreciation for the Enneagram and the practices of lectio divina and visio divina.
Brandy’s training is fully accredited through the Benedictine Spiritual Direction Program at Benet Hill Monastery in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
